Exterior Painting

A fortified exterior paint job is important to have in the New England climate.  You may already know that in the wold of contractors, there is a wide range of quality you can purchace.  Our services are at the very top of that range.  Whether your looking to protect the exterior of your home, or simply just change the color and appearance, we offer a top-of-the-line-product that you can only get from a local, owner-operated, business like ours.

For more information on our exterior painting, please visit our "Process & Technique" tab to see a detailed rundown of how thorough our exterior paint job actually is...

Interior Painting

As an owner-operated business, we have grown a reputation for delicate and precise interior painting jobs.  Interior painting can be a great way to revidalize your whole living space.

I get alot of people who hire us for interior painting to renew the insides of thier homes to get ready for selling thier houses, and it is always amusing to see how much people tend to fall back in love with thier homes once they see how beautiful thier homes can look with just a fresh coat of paint on the walls!

Typically we only take a limited amount of interior painting jobs per season so if your interested in a free estimate for interior work, be sure to let us know as soon as possible!

Deck Refinishing

One of the nicest ways to enjoy your home is on the porch or deck, but maintiaing a walking surfaces can be difficult with the harsh climate that New England can throw at it.  Whether its covered in green slime, has peeling paint/stain all over, or you just want maintane what is currently a nice but weathered finish for your back yard BBQ's, call us up to get your deck or porch all fixed up.

The only way to achive a durrable, long lasting, beautiful walking surface, is in the prep job.  Between pressure washing, all the way to fully mechanically stripping the paint or stain down to the bare wood.... we do it all.

House Washing

Whether your home is painted, stained, vinyl sided, wood, or some other composit material, eventually it will start to grow mold and mildew.  Paint manufacturers now-a-days cannot use heavy metals in thier products anymore such as mercury or lead which used to prevent mold and mildew from growing on, and eating away at the paint job.  The solution to this is simply washing your house!

Asside from being one of the most important steps in a prepjob before painting your home, it is also a very important and effective way to maintain the quality and life spand of your current paint job.  Mold and mildew actually feeds off of the surface paint of your siding, deteriorating it and breaking down the barrier you need to protect the wood.

Maybe your house is visably dirty or maybe you want to get more longevity out of your paint job, either way, washing the house about once every year to two years can be very important and helpful.  Also it is very important to make sure that the house is washed "properly" and without a pressure washer. Eventhough it is much faster for painters to wash houses with pressure washers, unless you know exactly how a house was built ( i.e. what the house is wrapped with (if anything at all), what type of sheething was used, and how all the parts of the house like the windows, trim, and roof were flashed with- if at all) then forcibly driving water behind the siding will certainly lead to rotting wood.  This is why we wash houses the good old fashion way with a window safe/plant safe, "Jo-Max" Bleech solution and manually scrub the whole house with brushes to completly remove all grime and dirt.

Recently I painted a house for a home owner that had his house washed once every year- his paint job lasted 14 years, and needed little-to-no prepwork before we re-painted to change the color, which saved him thousands of dollars in prep work.
